Thinking of moving to Australia to work in Recruitment? If so, here's Part 1 of everything you need to know about the ‘457 Business Sponsorship Visa’ changes.

Since April 2017, a series of changes to the 457 temporary working visa rules have been taking place in the lead up to its replacement by the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa in March 2018. After then, the 457 visa which allows skilled foreign workers to travel to Australia to work for an approved sponsor in their nominated occupation for up to 4 years is being replaced. So, if you’re interested in working in Australia within the recruitment sector, how will this potentially affect you?

The replacement Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa will offer a 2-year and a 4-year visa programme, based on sector. Foreign workers’ eligibility will now depend on their occupation and the size/type of business they are sponsored by.
