Scottish recruitment continues to outpace the UK.

The latest RBS 'Report on Jobs' from December 2018 shows the Scottish recruitment market is outpacing the UK as a whole with almost record year-on-year growth rates for permanent placements and strong growth for temporary placements and vacancy levels.
The growth index hit 64.5 v 59 in November (50 in the base index), maintaining a strong growth performance evident over the last year and ahead of the UK as a whole. Unsurprisingly, candidate availability continued to decline as vacancies continued to rise and the pressure on pay increased as a result with increases in permanent salary levels and temp pay rates ahead of inflation.
While this is evidence of a strong market and great news for all us recruiters, our own search for quality recruitment staff to exploit this strong market also remains pretty challenging. As Scotland's leading specialist Rec-2-Rec provider, we're better placed to help you than anyone else.
