With a recent YouGov* survey showing that two-thirds of all British workers would prefer to start and end their working day earlier than the traditional 9am to 5pm, you are not alone.

YouGov said starting at 8am and finishing at 4pm was the most popular option, chosen by 25% of respondents. Another 13% said they would prefer to work 8.30am to 4.30pm, while 10% favoured 7am to 3pm. The polling firm said age and working location were the biggest factors in people's choices.
With the recruitment industry working to a slightly different clock than most professional sectors, some late and flexible working is usually a necessity to allow us to pin down those hard to reach candidates.
More of our clients are responding to this new world of work with flexible working days to accomodate working mums with later starts, 4 day weeks and more flexibility around some home working during the week.
If you're a professional recruiter, or a professional looking to develop a career in recruitment and need more flexibility and want to change from the old 9 to 5, then let's have a chat about your options.
