Position: Trainee Recruitment Consultant – US Market

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 Plus Commission

Our client is a leading, independent recruitment firm that is a specialist within the Construction and Engineering industry within Scotland and the US. The American market has gone through a significant amount of growth and success, and it is now time for the time to expand by adding an entry level recruiter to help grow this market further.

In this role you will initially be in a candidate facing position, networking with candidates based in America who meet the requirements for your client’s vacancies, getting to know them, their skillsets and motivations and working alongside an experienced, specialist Recruitment Director to place them in suitable roles.

As you get to know your market, you will progress into a more client focused role, where you will be responsible for meeting with current clients to nurture the relationship and bring on more jobs as well as making business development calls to new clients to introduce yourself and the business, arrange face to face meetings and go out to them to sell your services and bring on new business.
