Job Description

A rare and exciting opportunity to join an internal Talent Acquisition team - located in the Technology recruitment hub in central Glasgow, with a hybrid working arrangement available.

Gillespie People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a leading global financial services business, for an experienced and reputable Talent Acquisition Partner to join the existing team. This is a newly created position which will compliment the existing team and allow a niche focus on both a vertical market of Technology and a set geographic coverage to build strong relations and engage well with internal hiring managers and potential applicants.

In this role you will be required to support your stakeholders in ensuring they are best positioned to attract, source and recruit top talent - both internally and externally. Primary responsibilities include staffing the business with quality hires, providing strategic recruitment solutions and proactive pipelining for future needs. You will do this through a number of routes but will have the support of a dedicated Candidate Sourcing team, allowing the role to focus on the end-to-end talent acquisition process, creating and implementing acquisition strategies and guiding hiring managers on the talent acquisition process.

Particular tasks include supporting the sourcing and pipeline building of qualified candidates; qualifying, interviewing and presenting candidates to hiring managers; partnering with senior management to anticipate upcoming needs and strategise pipelines; using innovative talent attraction solutions and providing a positive candidate experience with frequent and timely communication throughout the talent acquisition process.

You will educate applicants on the career growth potential, benefits and compensation philosophy while selling both the firm and the opportunity; conduct appropriate compensation expectation conversations with both hiring managers and candidates to ensure closure of offers and take ownership of the diversity goals of the organisation, providing guidance to hiring managers to ensure and present a diverse talent pipeline.

The successful candidate will be experienced in full life cycle talent acquisition at a fast-paced corporate environment, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment whilst balancing multiple priorities. You will be used to working in a confidential manner, have comprehensive understanding of employment law and regulations, knowledge of some project management or resource planning, good presentation skills and strong business acumen.
