Position: Senior Recruitment Consultant / Managing Consultant (IT or Accounts and Finance)

Location : Edinburgh

Salary: £50k - £60k plus Equity and various benefits and perks

We are recruiting on behalf of an independent recruitment business, who are specialists within the IT and Accountancy & Finance industries. Due to growth within the business, they are currently looking to invest by recruiting an experienced individual to Head up the new office based in Edinburgh. This will be alongside the other two offices in Glasgow and Aberdeen.

The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced (Senior) Recruitment Consultant who will be joining with a main focus on heading up the Edinburgh office, hitting targets and helping to grow the business overall and their own team, over time.

 

The role

If successful you will be responsible for the Edinburgh office and have a main focus on IT or Accountancy & Finance professionals.

Your main responsibility will be the delivery of these professionals. You will have access to an exclusive database of candidates as well as your own network, creating trusting and long-lasting relationships with all your candidates.

Alongside this you will be required to create and develop your own client base generating new leads and finding inventive ways to do so, whilst developing strong working relationships with hiring managers of varying levels. You will need to manage each of your clients’ requirements as well as their expectations, whilst improving your visibility within the market.

This will be coupled with the growth or your own team over time.

Your ability to maintain an organised desk is essential as you will be responsible for a number of different hiring managers.

To be considered for this position you ideally need to have a strong recruitment background, having preferably managed a team and have knowledge of the IT or Accounts and finance marketplace, however, all transferrable skills/ industries will be considered.
