Senior Recruitment Consultant - Creative Salary to £35,000 plus commission & benefits Hybrid or remote, with Edinburgh and Glasgow offices

This opportunity is to work with an independent consultancy who lead the recruitment market in their specialist field. They would like to appoint an experienced Senior Consultant to work across Marketing and Creative positions. Reporting into a highly experienced BM, and the support of a Director with an unrivalled reputation in the market, you’ll be responsible for owning the end to end recruitment process from search and interview through to offer stage and beyond.
You will ideally have 1+ year recruitment experience and be confident in demonstrating your credibility resourcing. However direct knowledge of this market isn’t essential, nor is a background in extensive new business development – you will be focused heavily on established business and almost in more of a key account management capacity, you will be ensuring all clients receive first class customer service, candidates are communicated with regularly and you engage confidently with your stakeholders.
Resilience and tenacity are essential qualities for this post, whilst the new business element isn’t strong here you will still face challenges in your daily role! And you need to be adept at managing those and harnessing your self motivation and prioritisation skills to still achieve your goal.
In terms of your daily duties, you will be cultivating and building on a number of well-established partnerships with key clients, and maintaining strong engagement with a relevant candidate pool in the Marketing and Creative space to make placements and hit monthly targets. Additional tasks might include:
- Developing and maintaining existing client relationships, and stakeholder consultation
- Interviewing, engaging and communicating with candidates
- Proactively approaching/headhunting candidates with LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools
- Working closely with marketing to develop an innovative candidate attraction suite
