This innovative, independent consultancy, specialises in recruitment across Financial Services, Legal and Insurance sectors, and Gillespie People Solutions have partnered with them to grow their highly successful team of consultants. They are in a position following a fantastic 2021 & 2022 to add an experienced Recruitment Consultant to specialise within their Financial Services team, focusing on the Pensions and Actuarial Services market. This is a genuinely different opportunity, in a very warm market, with a business who pride themselves on their professionalism, flexibility and expertise in their chosen markets.
The existing team are true experts in their sectors, and extremely high performers, which is a reflection of the tools and opportunities they are provided by the business. They truly invest in their teams, choosing not to target employees on activity but rather ensuring the outputs and offer various different career development opportunities, incentives and benefits.
This is a unique opportunity to join a successful team and the right applicant will be a proven fee earner in your current specialism, and have at least two years’ experience. This will be an extremely flexible role where you can be based from home or from an office space in Glasgow or Edinburgh, so also you need to be able to focus and apply discipline to your day as you will not be overly managed.
You will be identifying and building relationships with key professionals in the pensions market; managing and servicing key accounts; managing client relationships in order to gain new business; negotiating your own terms and conditions within some guideline parameters; briefing/preparing candidates for interviews with clients; managing offers; and conducting professional and thorough job registrations, pro-actively identifying opportunities to ensure candidates remain in your care exclusively.
It is important in this role you are proactive to support clients and communicate regularly with candidates, and keep a real up to date knowledge of market changes in a complex, evolving sector.
What this company is looking for is a self-sufficient recruiter who can take ownership for their workload, manage large key accounts and maintain the highest standards of service that the company’s clients have come to expect.
In return you are afforded flexibility of the highest level, control around where you work, access to key accounts with minimal cold business development to do as the clients are in place already and a highly lucrative package.
