Principal Recruitment Consultant
Salary to £40,000 DOE plus commission & fabulous benefits
Hybrid or remote, with Edinburgh and Glasgow offices
We are recruiting on behalf an independent recruitment consultancy based in Edinburgh, who provide expertise within Marketing, Accountancy & Finance, Technology, Change & Transformation, HR, and Business Services into a variety of different companies around the globe.  Due to phenomenal success over the last 2 years, they are currently going through a period of massive growth resulting in the opportunity to expand their team, recruiting for a Senior Recruitment Consultant, to work across Sales positions within the FMCG market.

You will have 2+ years recruitment experience and be confident in demonstrating your credibility resourcing. Experience hiring in either Sales or across the FMCG sector would be advantageous, as well as is the ability to reach out and develop perspective business.  Resilience and tenacity are essential qualities for this post, you need to be adept at managing a number of priorities and harnessing your self motivation and organisational skills to achieve your goal.
In terms of your daily duties, this is a 360 degree recruiter role and in addition to developing business and making sales calls, you will be cultivating and building on a number of well-established partnerships with key clients, and maintaining strong engagement with a relevant candidate pool in the Sales space to make placements and hit monthly targets. Additional tasks may include:
  • Developing and maintaining existing client relationships, and stakeholder consultation
  • Interviewing, engaging and communicating with candidates
  • Proactively approaching/headhunting candidates with LinkedIn Recruiter and other specialist sourcing tools
  • Working closely with marketing to develop an innovative candidate attraction suite
  • Attending events on the company’s behalf, conducting presentations and workshops with graduates and job seekers
  • Making outgoing sales calls and developing potential business; marketing candidates
