This highly successful client business is implementing an exciting re-engineering of their Perm IT business in Scotland in response to client demand and a changing market. Already a highly profitable leading UK and Scottish player, as part of a larger group, this role will play the lead in driving their Scottish Perm IT business and client growth. Based out of their Edinburgh office (Glasgow also possible for the right person), you will lead the development of their strong existing financial sector-biased client base, creating and managing new client relationships and driving new revenue opportunities. With a resourcing and recruitment team around you, your focus is on those clients, not on delivering the recruitment process itself.
You should be an experienced business developer in the Scottish IT sector with a good knowledge of the market and a proven ability in creating and developing great client relationships. You’ll need an ability to think strategically, plan new business campaigns to leverage existing group relationships and source, negotiate and win new clients and contracted supplier agreements. A confident communicator by phone and face-to-face with client decision makers at all levels, you’ll also get the opportunity to build, develop, support and lead your team in their own career development to ensure the business delivers the best possible results to ensure success and effective long-term relationships.
This role will grow with you and, if you prove your success the company will support your development in either a more senior strategic client role or into a more team leadership orientated role.
