Position:                          Business Development Manager

Location:                         Glasgow

Salary:                             £35,000 - £42,500 + Bonus Package + Car Allowance 

 

Gillespie People Solutions are delighted to be working on behalf of the UK’s leading and largest specialist innovation funding consultancies to help them grow their highly successful team based in Glasgow. This business is designed to help companies of all sizes and from all industries benefit from Government innovation tax incentives and they are now looking to add talented Business Development Managers to communicate and educate potential customers on this service.

This position is both field and office based and meetings with potential new customers will be the main focus of your role so experience in a similar field-based role is preferred. Potential clients can be from any sector including; Engineering, Scientific, Technology or Manufacturing. A network within any of these industries is preferred and would be very beneficial. You will also have to have experience of selling a service in industries such as the Legal sector, IT services, Finance or HR or come from a background such as Recruitment Agency. As part of the role, you will be supported by an inside sales team who will arrange meetings for you to attend, however you will have to take charge and be responsible for arranging and converting your own client base.

Our client is very forward thinking and has taken all measures necessary to ensure continued success over the past few months. Due to this, the role is currently remote, and all technology will be provided to enable home based working. They promote growth and development and are looking for driven and enthusiastic individuals to help grow the business further. This is a consultative selling role and requires individuals who can offer a quality service whilst being an expert in this sector. In depth training will be provided, however you will be expected to independently research and show a genuine interest in the offered service.
